Creative Commons news We’ve set out our thinking at CCANZ for 2015. March will see the CC Road Trip setting off around the country: we’ll be making a special announcement with all the details soon. The Otago Uni Anatomy Dept has released patterns for anatomy teaching models under CC. Historical maps of Christchurch now available online (and mostly CC licensed).

OA February at NZCommons February at NZCommons.org.nz is Open Access month! We begin with Dr Rupert Gatti of Open Book Publishers writing on OA in the UK, with heaps more articles to come throughout February. Please feel free to comment or contribute a piece yourself.

CC workshops available where you are Throughout 2015 we’re pleased to be able to once again offer free introductory CC workshops, run across the country by our excellent team of facilitators.

CC around the world National and State Libraries Australasia has released new CC procedural guidelines. The US National Endowment for the Humanities will publish out-of-copyright books as freely accessible, CC-licensed ebooks. Some Naturejournals are to start using the CC BY licence as their default. As of 2017, researchers funded by the Swedish Research Council must publish using a CC BY licence.
