Mandy is a librarian, writer, and advocate for a healthy and vibrant Commons. She was named a 2012 Library Journal Mover and Shaker for her work as a founding member of the People’s Library at Occupy Wall Street, and is the author of Economy, Ecology, Equity: The Path to a Carbon Neutral Library (ALA Editions 2014).

Brendan has had a 15-year career in public relations, working across a wide range of clients, predominantly in the technology, telecommunications and financial services industries. Brendan’s creative talents as a cartoonist (under the pen name ‘Jim’) are on regular display in various media in New Zealand and overseas.
With a background in project coordination spanning creative, social justice and start-up realms, Charlotte brings a range of skills and experience to Tohatoha. She is an enthusiast mum to (dog) Pippi and (toddler) Matilda, and enjoys dabbling in teaching, music, and gardening.
